Messeret Assefa, PA-C is a physician assistant who has been practicing for over 25 years. Messeret earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences from Long Island University in New York. She received her Doctor of Medicine from the Crimea Medical School in Russia. She has worked in the emergency department as well as in family practice. However, her focus is on women’s care as well as counseling and educating patients on preventative care. When she is not working, she spends her time reading, cooking, and volunteering at her church. She is fluent in English and Amharic and is intermediate in Russian.
